Free at last

Had sleeve gastrectomy 2 months ago and I feel on top of the world! I have lost 24 lbs so far and I am so happy that I cannot contain it. Getting this surgery is already feeling like a permanent fix to what was a never-ending battle. Before surgery I did not want to go anywhere or see anyone. Each day seemed like Groundhog Day and I felt like a failure. No matter how hard I tried or how much I wanted to change, I struggled. There were periods when I did well, but I was miserable, snapped at those I cared about, and was starving. But now everything has changed!!!! I am losing weight without trying, though I am careful to follow the program otherwise I don’t feel good. It wasn’t easy selecting where to have the surgery, but I am very thankful for the online reviews which lead me to Journey Lite. I didn’t begin at Journey Lite, though. I initially ignored the online ratings and reviews and inquired about the surgery at a renowned hospital in Ohio, however I quickly understood why they had negative reviews and low ratings. My experience with that hospital gave credence to the online reviews, and I looked closer at Journey Lite. I was very pleased with the transparency on the Journey Lite website including videos of actual surgeries, prices for each procedure, and the interaction of the doctor who was replying to questions and comments submitted. Everyone at Journey Lite works together like a well-choreographed dance. Each person has their part, and they are prepared at every step of the way. They prepared me at every step as well. Everyone seems willing to help and even the doctor is willing to reach out to you directly. I am incredibly impressed with them and feel blessed that I chose them to do my surgery.
