My decision to have the gastric sleeve was on a whim in all honesty. I had initially wanted to try injectable medications but realized they were not covered. My fiancé and I met with Dr. Curry and he discussed the process of the sleeve and I found out my insurance covered it at 100% we decided I should just go ahead and do it. The process went very smooth everyone was amazing and really nice. I had my surgery July 1st 2024 and as of today I’m down 74 lbs and counting. My surgery went smoothly and although I had severe nausea and vomiting (no fault of the surgeons) a month after I was feeling 1000% better.
