- Post op prescriptions
- You should have at least 3 prescriptions electronically sent to your pharmacy when you leave the office after your pre-op/consent visit:
- Nausea medication – at least 2 prescriptions, possibly 3
- Anti-Spasm medication
- Acid reducer – optional
- Please get them filled immediately, as some prescriptions expire after 7 days!
- Pain medication
- Your surgeon will send your pain medication prescription on the day of surgery (NOT IN ADVANCE)
- If your surgery is at Christ or Jewish, it will be sent to the in-house pharmacy and delivered to your room
- If you surgery is at JourneyLite:
- And you are a local patient, it will be sent to your home pharmacy
- And you are staying at the hotel, it will be sent to the Walgreens across the street from JourneyLite
