Self Pay/Employer Directed Coordinator
Bonnie handles all of JourneyLite’s self-pay and employer-directed cases, including programs such as Transcarent, Luminary, Carrum, Lantern (Surgery Plus), and Barinet. As your case coordinator and single point of contact, she helps you understand your next steps and keeps your preparation connected with the JourneyLite team.
She helps coordinate scheduling, required medical clearances, and pre-op education so you know what needs to happen before your procedure.

Insurance Coordinator and Scheduler

Navigating the path to bariatric or weight loss surgery involves two equally important steps: clinical readiness and financial clearance. As our combined Insurance Coordinator and Scheduler, Morgan is your dedicated partner for both.
Morgan brings extensive experience to our practice, specializing in the intricate art of securing weight loss surgery approvals. She understands that the world of deductibles, pre-authorizations, and coverage limits can be a major source of stress. Her mission is to act as your fierce advocate, proactively addressing complicated insurance issues to ensure that your clinical care plan and financial clearance are synchronized without delay.
By merging the two roles, Morgan creates a streamlined experience, moving you efficiently from consultation to surgery day. Patients appreciate her meticulous attention to detail and her tenacity when dealing with insurers on their behalf. Warm, approachable, and deeply knowledgeable, Morgan is committed to clearing the obstacles so you can focus on your health and transformation.

Jena Speight, RN
Preadmission Testing Coordinator & Clinical Support Supervisor
With 23 years of experience in healthcare and 16 years as a Registered Nurse, Jena brings a broad range of clinical experience, leadership, and a patient-centered approach to her role as Preadmission Testing Coordinator and Clinical Support Supervisor at JourneyLite. She earned her nursing degree from Galen College of Nursing and has worked in diverse healthcare settings, including pharmacy, Cardiac ICU, trauma centers, post-surgical care, long-term care, oncology, post-anesthesia care, and agency nursing.
In her current role, Jena coordinates preoperative testing and medical clearances to ensure patients are fully prepared for surgery. She also supervises and supports clinical staff while focusing on patient education, safety, quality, and compliance. Her extensive experience across the healthcare continuum allows her to see the whole patient journey and adapt quickly to changing needs and challenges.
She is passionate about solving problems, improving care, and helping patients feel cared for throughout their healthcare experience. Her goal is to ensure every patient feels safe, secure, prepared, and heard, with their questions addressed before surgery. She believes that effective communication, compassionate care, and strong clinical support are essential to creating a positive patient experience.
Outside of work, Jena enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending quality time with family.

With over 20 years of experience helping patients navigate their weight loss journey, Charity provides a welcoming point of contact at JourneyLite’s Cincinnati main office. She helps patients explore surgical options, understand the consultation process, and navigate questions about insurance, self-pay costs, and scheduling.
Working closely with the clinical team, Charity helps patients feel informed and supported as they take the next step toward the procedure that best fits their needs.

With over 15 years of experience supporting patients, Robin helps make getting started with medical weight loss feel more manageable. Based in JourneyLite’s Columbus office, she guides patients through program options, appointment scheduling, and questions about medication costs and coverage.
Robin connects patients with the clinical team to determine which medication or treatment approach may be right for them, offering friendly, knowledgeable support along the way.
