Our primary admitting facility is The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you need an emergency department evaluation, our team may ask you to go there to be seen. There are numerous reasons why we may ask you to do this, even if there are perfectly good emergency departments closer to you:
- Christ Hospital has extensive experience with weight loss surgery patients
- If you were to need to be admitted for any reason, our team would be able to take care of you.
- If you go to an outside facility and need to be admitted, you would likely need to be transferred to Christ by squad
The map at the top of the page will give you driving directions to the main hospital. Make sure you are using this map as Christ has several different locations and we need patients to go to the main hospital at 2139 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219.
Once you arrive on campus just follow the signs to the Emergency Department. There is parking right outside the ED.
Upon arrival you will be initially evaluated by the emergency department team, and then they will contact us for further instructions.
