He later pursued specialized training in minimally invasive and laparoscopic bariatric surgery, becoming an early adopter of procedures and devices that have shaped modern weight loss care, including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, gastric balloons, Lap-Band revisions, and revisional bariatric surgery.
