On July 21, 2014, Representatives Johnson (D-TX) and Blumenauer (D-OR) circulated a letter to their fellow members of the House of Representatives asking them to join them in signing a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that encourages HHS to support coverage of obesity treatment services in state health exchange plans.

I encourage you to visit the Obesity Action Coalition’s (OAC) Legislative Action Center where you will be able to send a form message to your legislator in the House of Representatives. ACT NOW as the deadline for getting your member of Congress to sign the letter is Thursday, August 7th.
